Team Member Registration

Complete all steps below to register for the 2026-2027 season

Registration Deadline: Monday September 7th at 5:00pm.

No extensions will be given!

Once all steps are completed, new parent emails will be added to the team's distribution list and they will start to receive regular updates regarding the season.

New team members will receive an invitation to join the team's Discord, where team members and mentors communicate with each other.

1. Carefully read the Team Handbook and make sure your family understands the team's participation requirements.

2. Print out and complete the Team Agreement on Page 22 of the handbook.

3. Print out and complete the Liability Waiver.

4. Print out and complete the Health Information Form.

5. Scan and email all documents, along with copy of Medical Insurance Card to FRC1389@gmail.com.

Please note: Student and parent must both print name, sign, and date all documents. Electronic signatures will not be accepted.
Make sure to include student's name in email subject line.

6. Complete the online Member Sign-Up form linked here.

7. Complete FIRSTinspires.org online requirements.

New members create an online FIRST account (and complete FIRST Consent & Release Form).
Returning members complete an updated FIRST Consent & Release Form for the 2026/2027 season.
Instructions for both can be found on page 23 of the Team Handbook.

8. Pay Registration Fee

The fee for the 2026-2027 season is $700 per team member.
As Team 1389 is a 501c3, this fee is tax deductible and you will receive a receipt for your records.

Make sure to include your team member's name in the "add note/comment." You will automatically receive a receipt for tax purposes.

Corporate Matching

As a 501c3 organization, Team 1389 qualifies for corporate matching programs. In the past, this has provided the team with significant additional funds.. If your employer has a corporate matching program, please consider supporting Team 1389 in this way.
